Axis Entrance Matting at Otago University in Dunedin

Axis entrance matting has been successfully used recently in the University Union redevelopment at Otago University in Dunedin.

Warwick McLaren of Parker Warburton Team Architects says, “The University Union redevelopment is a project that has revitalised one of the main student hubs on the campus of the University of Otago. The brief called for an entry flooring solution that would ensure no water or dirt was dragged into the main concourse space. We specified Advance Flooring’s Axis entrance matting for the entire entry lobby. It has performed exceptionally well in keeping the main concourse space dry and clean.”

Axis is an interlocking modular entrance matting system with water-absorbent, intense wear infills. The modular design allow the tiles to be cut to shape and size onsite for easy installation.

The safety of Axis matting is unbeatable. It is anti-slip in all conditions, specially designed to eliminate heel traps, and is wheelchair compliant when used with the correct matwell system.

Axis entrance matting is ideal for use in entranceways with high-density foot traffic, such as shops, malls, hotels, offices, hospitals, airports and schools.
